Captain Chignell informed me that between 10AM and 11:30AM, on February 11, Taraval Station officers cited 31 drivers for failing to yield to pedestrians at Sunset and Santiago. This is an excellent example of the focused enforcement that helped to reduce traffic fatalities by 56% in the Taraval, and 37% Citywide, in 2008.
